Perhaps you could quote some of that evidence and tell me WHY you find it unconvincing.
In all fairness, I read the article awhile back and don't feel like doing it again. But aparently it didn't convince me that there was a problem with the law, per se, though there was in what people though it was.

You may feel you're onto something important, and more power to you. But before I invest the effort to read the article, I'd first have to believe there was an issue that warranted it. Ant that's the point. Almost 50 ears of road riding all over the USA operating under FTR or AFRAP rules, I've never felt marginalized in any way.

No I don't keep AFRAP most of the time, and have been taking as much of the road as I've felt I needed, but I also share the road, creating safe passing opportunities when cars approach or when conditions allow. In fifty years I was only once questioned by a State trooper about my lane placement, and he accepted my thinking and wished me a safe day.

There are folks who are highly focused on the law, and like you advocate for changes. I only care about what actually happens out in the real world, which isn't about law, but conduct. Without a serious effort to educate and change conduct, changes in the law are meaningless. With a serious effort to educate and change conduct, changes in the law are unnecessary.
