I've tried riding with one earbud and it was super annoying with the wire and the other bud dangling and such. I've seen some pretty good reviews of a bluetooth earpiece that isn't too expensive. Saw it tested on 5th Gear where they used it in convertible cars with the tops down at 100 MPH and they reported good sound quality. Been thinking of getting one and streaming music or podcasts to it while riding.
