I think what killed Detroit is when most of the educated skilled proffessionals left the city and moved away. All that was left is welfare bums, gangsta boys, drug dealers and all kinds of other lowlifes.. I've been to Detroit twice way back around 1993-1994 and all I remember is boarded up houses and ghettos. The whole place is rotten to the core...This has nothing to do with parking lots.
