This is reminding me that earlier this summer I had a group ride after work and I hadn't had time to each much that day. I was famished but got happy because in my cylcing bag I found a sample pouch of some sort of gel bloc things that I had picked up at a race and forgotten about. I'm not sure how long they were in my bag, but shortly after departing I opened them up and found they had completely melted and reformed into a single gummi mass. The part molded into the pouch corner was much harder than the upper regions and took a while to chew into a swallowable consistency, but I got 'er.
