I was in a situation 2 weeks ago where I had to salmon for about 100 yards. Dead little street in front of the LBS where I was heading... when I was mid-stream, a car came down the street toward me - plenty of room on the road for me to make my quick little maneuver and get off the road. He decided however, to make a point of aiming his POS car at me rather than allowing me a little room (of which there was plenty) and then swerved away at the last second.

"Salmoning" was not something I ever intended to do but we can't always be perfect, now can we?
