woohoo pedals arrived today! I rode around the block at the office a couple of times, with my normal office shoes (very flexible minimalist shoes called Stem Primal Origins) and also my bike shoes. Seems to work great both ways. Bearings are extremely smooth. I'm wondering if they'll loosen up at all such that the weight of the pedals make them hang one way or the other. Right now they just stay situated how they were in their last touched position regardless of crank position.

I'll be riding home today with the bike shoes. Then I'll take them off to get an actual weight when I get home.

Manual Shamual!

Came with new cleats, but I think I'll just save these in case my current cleats get too worn.

My dumb @$$ stuck one shoe onto one of the pedals, but then couldn't get it back off because not enough leverage. I actually had to install the pedal to the bike with the shoe attached, then stick my foot into the shoe to twist off.

Also these come with the release tension fully tight so that was another reason why I couldn't get it off. I definitely had to back off that tension screw a bit.
