I have a friend who has an entry level bike with cages etc. She was told by someone that she needs a computer with Cadence. I told her to get a basic one with speed, mph, average speed, and total miles. I told her she needs to learn to ride first and Cadence would be an unneccessary distraction at this stage of the game. Also it is really for training. At 65 I don't think she'll ever really use it. What is your opinion?
