I remember reading about a RAAM rider who would ride on a trainer for 8 hours straight in a darkened basement. That's hardcore! The longest I ever rode my trainer at one time was 2 hours. After an hour and 15 minutes, I had to take off my watch because it felt as if time was slowing down. I'll never do that again.
