"Supporting" my lifestyle is a bit of an overstatement. The only thing thats a little bit true about it is that they cover all the upkeep costs of the house, but it is their house and they can do whatever they want with it and keep every penny when selling it. However when I mean upkeep I mean they pay for it but actually doing the upkeep falls alot on my shoulders wether its lawn mowing, raking, shoveling, trimming bushes, painting, plus all the various interior cleaning tasks. Just my opinion but I think you have fallen for the stereotypical "lives with their parents so must be lazy" mindset.
I totally agree. And I am a parent, living with me are a grown son, his wife and mother-in-law and their teenage son. I'm an introvert, I enjoyed living alone, but having the companionship and assistance of a younger family has been good for me (and for them, I hope). I bet your parents love having you there!
