I doubt if anyone cares if a poster doesn't want or choose to listen to that opinion or good advice.
I find objectionable your characterization that well meaning suggestions and advice that don't line up with your viewpoint and/or are not attempts at cheerleading whatever scheme is proposed, are unfriendly, unwarranted, cutthroat and may spoil your desire for group think consensus.
OP never asked if he should move out of his parents' house or how he could meet women. In fact, he said a couple times that he was specifically
not interested in our opinions on these topics. The OP wrote to a
carfree cycling forum for advice on the practicality of
becoming carfree. He got some relevant advice, but mostly he got cruel off topic comments about his love life and his family relationships. If that's what he had wanted, he would have written to Amy Alkon, not LCF.
