Kool Stop pads on your vintage bike - caliper brakes
Laid up with an injury at the moment (so haven't tried it yet), but just put Kool Stop Continentals on the front, and Eagle Claw 2 pads on the back caliper of my 1981 Trek. The Eagle Claw is a pretty big pad so hopefully it will be even better braking. Not crazy about the color but ended up going with the salmon since they seem to get the most positive comments, but anyone using this combination of different size brake pads (Continental front/Eagle Claw 2 back) on their vintage bike with improved results?...or is this move a mistake?
