Affordable is in the eye of the beholder. The GoPro3 can be had for $200 all the way up to $400. I have the gp2 and have had really good luck with it. I also have the gp3 silver and have had to have it replaced twice already because it wouldn't turn on. I like having it not because of drivers (although it does help) but I like to watch the videos.
