After consulting the manufacturer it was brought to light that the acid used to etch the concretes surface needs to be neutralized before painting, as it will leave the floors surface with to high ph. Nice that neither product mentioned this fact. The manufacturer has replaced the product at no charge and Lowes has replaced the rest of the products used , also at no charge for attempt #2 . I have power washed 50% of the floor to remove the faulted attempt and am preparing to go do the remaining 50%. The manufacturers rep. is going to talk me through the rest of the steps to insure full adhesion of their product.
God help me I bought into this plan .....again. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, Im an idiot. But I just cant give up, not now, not when victory is so close....
