Good grief! Talk about a parsing a word to make it come out to suit one's argument. Let's see, how about slacking or loafing? Froome quit after two laps of stage seven.

While I'm delighted for Sagan (my ancestry is Slovakian) if this race is going to gain any legitimacy they're going to need to end a few stages on an uphill climb. Right now it looks like its a PR-fest for each town in which the race ends.
