I was last doored when I was 16 (I won't say how many decades or miles ago that was), and the driver took the worst of it since I broke the door's hinge. Didn't need video, since he insisted on calling the police, and got rewarded with a citation for his trouble. Since then, I've had my fair share of close calls of all types, and even some contact without injury.
But in the scheme of things, it's not enough to change my outlook, and I don't want to live videoing everything. If I ever get to that point, I'll take the hint and move to Mexico full time.
The one instance I wish I had a camera for was when I was almost hit on my way to work by another employee of the agency(NGA). Caught up to them in the parking lot and they threatened me. Reported it to the agency police,and basically nothing was done. Would have loved to have had video to take to the IG.
