Back to it after taking Monday off following a 55-mile ride Sunday.
Took my roadie today, instead of the CX bike, and shaved some time.
There's a tree down on the MUP, well, down, but about 8 feet or so off the ground. I ducked low just to be safe.
Had a 7,9,10 split of elderly asian folks on the MUP too, and as I approached of course the woman on the far left starts to meander back to join the other two. Sees me, stops dead in the middle of the MUP. I'd already committed to going to the far left left, even if that meant the grass. Ugh ...
Oh, and had a tri-geek and his GF I'm supposing, in front of me, they were slowing and he was, I'm assuming expounding on the wonders of tri and how amazing his Trek TT bike is while unclipping on the left side of the MUP. At least he moved a little further right than the woman above.
Supposed to be mid-90s with high humidity this afternoon. Not planning to push hard
