I had hoped that the 800 that I own would be useful to help navigate urban areas quickly with clear prompts, but the display does not provide turn by turn directions (like a car GPS).
I can see this as very useful while cycling far from home and avoiding the need to stop and check maps at every poorly marked intersections.
Hmmm? I have an 800, and it absolutely provides turn-by-turn directions - I use it frequently. Do you have routable maps loaded, or one of the freeware map sets without routing?
