Forget what I have............I want to hoard Spidel LS2 sidepull brakeset lever hoods!!! Talk about "unobtanium"!
In something like 4 years already, I've only seen only one NOS set sold at eBay......and a guy sniped it away from me at the last second!
They are good hoods, but really nothing special, design-wise compared to something like Modolo 919 Anatomics, but the super difficulty finding them seems to drive me harder every year to really want spares for my Spidel brakesets on two C&V bikes.
And there's those Universal lever hoods I have to find for my AER brakeset too! Universal seems to have made their hoods out of licorice and they never seem to survive in usable condition even on NOS examples of their AER and model 77 brakesets..... Arrrgh!
