Why don't bottled water mfg's, gatorade, etc. make bottle cage friendly disposable bottles. Most water bottles are either too thin causing them rattle around in the cage, or too big caising the need to wedge them in.
That's what bidons are for, sports bottles aren't designed to be carried in bike bottle holders, bidons are, same as bidons don't fit in car cup holders well, but your Gatorade bottle will.
