a) calculated power is "close", never right unless you can also predict where every other rider will be, not to mention wind direction/speed/etc/etc/etc
b) "close" is relative to who's looking and what their "needs" are
c) why so hostile? I.E. "No, YOUR POST IS CRAP!"

not be faster in general or under ideal conditions, but like in a real race with real competitors.
