Love this thread! Everyone's posts of excellent titanium rigs inspired me to to build up my own and post it here...

2004 Litespeed Firenze frame found on eBay, built up with handed-down DA 7700, updated with 10-speed 105 5700 shifters and cassette (shift action very smooth and precise) and R700 compact crank; red pops with Woodman headset and seatpost clamp; cockpit consists of SLR Flow saddle, Bontrager seatpost with red rail clamp, Bontrager RXL stem, Specialized compact bar, Fizik Microtex tape; Ksyrium SSC SL wheels with Conti GP4000s; plus my favorite update--3T Funda Pro fork. As expected, rides very smoothly (but with a touch of harshness on the front, I'm guessing from the fork). I've dreamed of owning a Ti bike for decades, so I guess it's a dream come true.
