I do this -- I eat 6 times a day now (3 main meals, 3 planned snacks). I'm never a few hours from my next meal. If I get a craving for something specific, I am pretty good about saying "if I still want it tomorrow, I'll go get it." Usually the feeling wanes....
I'm down ~45 lbs since January 2nd; have spent 2013 doing intervals and eating clean (but not specifically limiting calories).
