Reads like your unintended consequences are showing themselves.
Unintended consquences maybe. I got feed up refitting rack and realised better to ditch a rack that does not get used anyway other than a roller carrier.
No I don't want the brompton rack on the bike now, buts its a shame to lose full rolling ability.

When I tilt the bike up it clears the suspension block so its ok.

Yellow wheels are "kuzak netminder wheels",not just any old yellow wheels.

Anyone tried it?

I am also aware that the brakes may bind when cable folded, but I would just fit a qr if that was the case.
