I see (on Amazon) the cruisers are $10 and 100g less than the marathons. I wonder which are better off-pavement. I've got some 700x28 Marathons on an old peugeot and spent some time today on the hardpack dirt trails around the bay here. I've had such great luck with the marathons. No flats and really like the tread pattern. Seem to roll really great on and off pavement.

Will probably go with marathon on my Friday also because I want to stay with 1.5". Gotta do something soon because my front (Haro!?) is completely worn down and squared off.
