... and it looks like the general consensus in the comparisons that have been done by people who have actually driven both, feel like the GT86 is a worthy successor.

it doesn't look that great on paper, but anyone who knows anything about us is that we don't give a **** about power. for us it's about "fun to drive", and the brz is fun. i'm sure the AE86 is great, but i wouldn't want to have to put 20,000 miles a year or drive in a salty winter in a hard to find 25 year old car.

i still like my abarth better because it doesn't handle nearly as well, and that combined with the turbo make it more exciting to drive around town. the brz is way more planted and refined. it also has a far superior transmission so i think maggie's going to at least get a short shifter soon. if we start going to the track with them, she'll get different suspension too.
