No...I'm not a fan. I think any quality steel frame at a price of 250$ or less is going to be a fine deal. I simply don't think De Rosa represents gorgeous Italian craftsmanship. But if the price is right any good quality steel will do.

I'm not saying De Rosa is bad. But if I was going to make an effort to get an Italian Lugged frame I'd probably seek out a Grandis. The lugwork and fork crowns on Grandis are equally beautiful to Masi's of the same era and a still a bargain today...
