Regarding expense, I guess I'm thinking $74 is a little steep for bars.
I bought the whole bike for only a little more than that...
The 'Lauterwasser' bar is not really a mustache bar. You could say it's a compromise shape between a drop bar and a mustache bar, but it's based on a very old design (for which it is named; but it doesn't have the same shape as the original). It has some unusual features, in particular the 7/8" diameter and bends designed for MTB type levers and shifters. The tight bends make for tricky manufacturing, which may explain the high cost (but you can definitely find it for less than $74).
