The Sequoia set up like yours with the carbon stays is a super smooth sport/touring ride. If yours has the double Zertz inserts in the fork it is unique and no other fork rides like that one. All in all the bike is not super stiff, rides real nice, and good for fast rides and credit card touring.
Doubt the carbon frame will give any better results.
Why would someone trade a "superior" carbon frame for your alloy/carbon mix frame? Knowing the Sequoia like I do, there is no way I would trade it.
Oh no, the Sequoia is a keeper, I"m not trading that off. I know that my buddy got the frame for around 250 so who knows what he wants of mine. He is really short so he can't ride frames taller than 50cm or so which is how I ended up with the Motobecane. That frameset was his but it is a 54cm and he tried it but it was just too tall. This carbon bike is 53cm and is just too tall for him as welll.
