i've had some successful results using nail polish enamel too.
actually up for some heavy-ish touchup work. this gives me great idea.
was worrying how i'd bring a sample chip—i was even thinking peeling some paint off—into Sephora, where there're hell lot more, wider selections of nail lacquer can be found, including some metalic colors.
why not bringing the frame with me, right? genius.

and yes, will make sure the result is recorded here. i promise.
