As mentioned they are both right hand thread. If you have to destroy the dust cover to remove it, you can probably find a replacement on ebay. Either way grease the threads of the dust covers when you put them back on.

I had self-extracting bolts on a crank once. I hated them. I'd much rather use a puller than put my full strength 6mm Allen bolt (or whatever size it was.)
