Hey David, it is fortunate for folks like us that there is not much appreciation for these old steeds. Even here on this forum there is a pretty strong bias to "all things Italian" and, as such, the old English stuff tends to be under appreciated. Don't get me wrong, there is something to be said about Italian bikes or those that are very much race-oriented in nature but, for all around goodness, the stuff out of England stands the test of time quite well.
