i thought i would post here since its the mechanics section, but i think this is the wrong crowd, time to get over to the vintage section. My reasons for changing are that i want campy first, second i like the brifters. yes i could buy a new bike but where is the fun in that? im aware that im spending more than the bike is worth. I like vintage bikes and putting more modern bits on them will be a learning experience and will put a smile on my face everytime i ride.
