Ear buds...volume turned up...on a MUP in L.A.? Not a good idea! The bike trails around here are too heavily traveled and you need to hear what's going on around you. You will most likely be deemed at fault in the event of a collision.

That said, run the cables under your glasses and helmet strap. Then, inside your jersey. That should take care of any audio harmonics. Running the cable under your glasses and straps also allow you to quickly remove a bud from an ear, and it won't "fall" toward the ground. It will just hand there off your glasses.
