I just had a click from the left side while under load, turned out to be bearings in the pedal going out. New pedals solved it. The pedals were some old no-name SPD's so it was expected.

I've actually been wishing for warmer afternoon commutes, because I head north and warmer weather usually means a tail wind out of the south.
