Some cartridge BB's have a preload adjustment that increases preload by tightening the NDS bracket. But I know most certainly that the UN55 does not have this adjustment because I own one myself. It takes a few hundred miles for the seals to loosen up to the point where there is almost no resistance. You'll get to that point eventually, but for now you just have a goal to work towards.
