Thanks for the tip. I checked the rules pretty carefully before the purchase and it states no passage of brake cables inside the handle bars, and that passage in the frame is acceptable. I rode the bike today, for the first time. It was on the Spec Roubaix Pro 28's and they fit with room to spare.
