I have similar shoes to these, in silver/grey. When I had Look deltas back in the day, and then SPDs with a standard road shoe, I kept walking off-bike to a minimum and kind of duck-walked everywhere when I did, but with these and SPDs, I can just stroll around the cafe or shop at a rest stop without worrying about what damage I'm doing to them.

Also, the metal SPD cleats are way more durable than the plastic delta style; I've seen some Look/SPD-SL cleats that have been hanging on by plastic threads. I'm still on my first pair of SPD cleats after 7 years (only had the recessed cleat shoes for about 2 of those).
