Whatever you do, DO NOT search on Columbine in Mendocino - they're doing custom bikes/lugs IIRC. What they do with their lugs via hand-filing is just out of this world. Makes the Nervex lugs look like kiddie projects.
The reason I'm looking for a vintage roadie is because I'm doing a custom build on a budget. When I have a more disposable bike budget, and have the knowhow to braze my own frames, I'll look into some more extravegant lugs.
