I've gotten cables stuck in them before... Fortunately these units are pretty easy to disassemble. I figured it out myself with no instructions or anything. I don't remember the details but just pay attention to how everything comes apart and put it back together the same way. IIRC the trickiest part was getting a little circular spring back in its correct place.
