I have 2, particularly like the setup in my Bike Friday , their data is all about minimum 2.35:1 drive .

small wheels same low gear is achieved with a big chainring , even further within the safe zone.

New Bi Fri Silk will build up w/o chain-tensioner , my Pocket Llama has their chain tensioner .

( the fold to pack being behind the BB is why, the other one the rear is a single assembly including the BB)

Rohloff is using ball and needle bearings the planet gears included..

Rotary grip shift , the ratios all fall in sequence , and all the shifting is in the Hub, so cables are pull-pull..

dont keep a cadence counter on . 71~80 is more data than I need (op may be diff.)

I tend to let the speed change to keep the effort similar, of course the low hill gears dont get me far for each pedal stroke.
