The chain stays on my bike are 44cm. Were they much longer than that on '84s and '85s? For my other road bikes of the same frame size they range from 39cm to 41cm.

We've covered 620 values quite a few times, the 1983 has the lowest for that series due to the lack of cantis and the shortest stays. 1985 is the best, 1984 is a step behind the 1985, and the 1983 is several steps below the 1984.
