I decided to up and join the Miyata cult today. I picked up this 1982 Miyata Pro. In amazing shape. A few decal scratches and a little surface rust on some bolts/components. Bought it from the second owner. Stated that original owner raced the bike for 2 years and then hung in garage. Current owner did nothing to the bike. Basically a time capsule from 1984. Still has original tires, frame pump and water bottle. He stated that he had sold it on Ebay for almost double what I paid, but buyer didn't want to pay for shipping. It is a beautiful bike.
