The thought of gloss black with chromed lugs and possibly a chromed fork is tempting but i don't know if i want to stray so far from the original. What other colors did these early colnagos come in? Has anyone seen a poster like the one i attached. Its some sort of big decal attached to the back of the glass with the gray background being a seperate piece. The "art" is probably a Colnago dealer shop window sticker that was redirected. I have one for another brand I did that to.
Early Colnagos I have seen:
Eddy orange, (which moved around hue wise) lime metallic green, electric blue, White, solid lavender, solid marigold, solid navy blue, solid dark red, solid light blue. As I write that there were a significant number of opaque colors with no metallic. At the time I felt like every batch that was imported had a new color or two. Many colors were not to be seen again. In the mid 70's the metallics were dominant.
