And they serviced it for free when I got back. It's a lifetime investment and will save money on replacing cassettes etc in the future.
They are expensive though and more heavy than derailleur setups.

I looked at your site before, what an adventure and hope to ride it some day soon. Besides that nipple snap was it pretty much trouble free with the Rohloff? Seems like you covered all kinds of terrains with it. Just wondering how you planned your route across the world?
