The tyre is the plain Marathon as opposed to Marathon Plus and is my preferred commuting rubber, being cheaper, lighter and plenty tough enough.
Since you have an MTB you need 26" tyres with a width of between 1.5" -1.75".
28" or 700C is a larger size for hybrid style bikes.
