Living in Bend and riding that section of road quite often on our Macchaito that speed is very easy to obtain.
We did the RR at Masters Nationals last year Mixed 90+. Not difficult to get to the mid 50's on the descent. We tried to attack on the downhill, got a little seperation, but didn't have high enough gearing to make it stick.
