So then, help an newbie out. How should I wash my bike?
My LBS told me off for hosing my bike down after a ride, so in my infinite wisdom (and after a few beers) I decided to get the car wax out and wax the frame, kind helped, with 1/2 the washing with the hose my bike gets shiny again.
Then I clean and oil the chain, wipe the shiny parts of the forks with a rag and well call it good.
I don't like the "leave it dirty" approach, it's just not me.
