21 miles through a tropical storm. I'd say it was waterproof enough.
It helped me with the theft issue because it was easy for ME to remove and take inside with me.

Airzoundz stays. I'd never considered that someone might want to steal it before! It's hose leading from the vessel to the horn itself is twined around the frame a couple of times, so it'd be a bit of a pain to take on and off and be bulky. I'll continue to risk it!
