Is the bike under warranty and I assume just general riding if so they would replace or pro-rate it? I have to say to me that is a badge of honor to smash it out that hard to literally snap the frame!
They denied the warranty but offered him a discount on a new Madone frame. He took them up on their offer.
I think he said he got a new, mid-range, Madone frame for about $1,500.00. I forgot the exact amount he paid and I"m not familiar enough with the Madone frames to even know the differences between them.
