Sounds like a job for the legal system and I don't mean small claims court. Denying a warranty claim for a phony, made up reason like we know it couldn't have happened that way is BS. He just got bullied. I would not have taken the discount deal but would have a lawyer on the phone with them pronto. That is not my style, but you can't let a company get away with s**t like that. All he has to do is allude to some orthopedic issues and he is golden. Trek will be dying to settle with him. I hear they do this stuff a lot. A$$hats.
